Dr. Sharma is a graduate of Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her residency training at an intensive podiatric foot and ankle medicine and surgery program at Hoboken University Medical Center. Here, she spent three years training extensively in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery, Trauma, Sports Medicine, and Diabetic Limb Salvage. Dr. Sharma is board-certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons in both foot and rearfoot/ankle reconstructive procedures. Dr. Sharma currently serves as the Program Director and Interim Chief of Podiatry for the CarePoint Health- Hoboken University Medical Center Residency Program. She is passionate about educating patients and future surgeons on treating conditions of the foot and ankle. She believes that specific patient-tailored delivery of care is the ideal way for patients to get the best outcomes from both non-surgical and surgical treatment options. Dr. Sharma is also pursuing her Executive MBA/MS in Healthcare Leadership at the prestigious Cornell University.
